From the Midlands, now in London Dethonator are releasing their third LP – “Race Against The Sun” on Pavement Entertainment on 1st Feb.
There’s plenty to chew over here, blending NWOBHM with Power, dark lyrics and tonal perfection, this is only part one of a two part release.
There is certainly a lot of influences here, especially from Judas Priest, with some great fantasy and horror lyrics, especially on “The Hangman”.
A solid release, I’m only disappointed that I’m going to have to wait for the second half of this, which will be announced later in the year.
