Streaming capabilities are now available on Macs and Linux from BBC iPlayer.

This is great news for me – I have no need to my Windows laptop anymore, and of course as it’s not Live Broadcast – you don’t need a UK TV License!
The player is still only available to people in the UK, however I have heard of reports of people using UK proxy servers to get the content from abroad.
