Feeling a little compressed

I have not had an excellent day today. My mobile is playing up, my apathy for all things life has hit a low today.
So just so that you guys can have some kind of podcast entertainment, have an evening me playing Zobmondo with Graeme and Vikki, my two mates from Liverpool. If you heard my early shows, you know that you can expect some expletives, and talk about beer, life and things in general during the hour and twenty minute recording.
I know I promised more music, but I just don't feel up to it tongiht. Maybe tomorrow....

Vote for Julia's Windows tune

You know what would be real nice? Well, if you would go and give some votes for Sleeper in Epitaph Records' Demo-lition. That would be real nice. Thanks.

Oh little Bedsit

As promised

ID cards plan to go ahead

MPs are saying that it's easier to have an ID Card.
Granted that in other european countries, ID cards have become in integral part of society.
I am still of two minds. I have nothing to hide, I am far too honest for my own good.
It's going to be the cost of all this that worries me, billions of punds are going to be spent, which I think could be spent elsewhere for the good of the country

Orange Welly

"A chap called Rowland Cutler, a British podcaster has two homes:
1) a house in idylic surroundings in Wales
2) a crappy bedsit in Birkenhead."

Someone talking about me. What next, fame and fortune? Mm, doubt it. Thanks Welly.

What worries me is why someone has written this up.....

Digital Spy: No Cumming in 'X-Men 3'

This is a pity.
Alan Cumming is a grreat actor, even good in Son of Mask, which is a dire film which makes me squint my eyes because of the brightness of the colours, but he was good as Night Stalker.
I suppose it was the 3 hours in make up each time.
Oh all the hassle, first Director, now Actors. Will this film ever be done?

Citizenship Test?

Can the average Brit pass this test?
I got 15 points out of this, which is not too bad. It cerainly won't get me deported.

Doctor Who third series confirmed

AThird Series (With David Tennant I presume), has now been confirmed.
The First Series (Season), finishes this Saturday with more Daleks than you can wave a stick at, well sticks won't help if you are face to face with half a million of them.

Dalek Recovered

The kidnapped Dalek has been recovered. The Guardians of Planet Earth left it on Glastonbury Tor, ready for the festivals maybe?

Music players pose data danger

Pointsec should have something better to do than think
"Duh, flash drives pose a risk"
Yes, they do. The company I work for has a procedure on Portable Flash devices. So should everyone else.
More on the podcast tonight methinks.

Dalek 'kidnappers' demand Doctor

The group, Guardians of the Planet Earth have been sending parts of the Dalek back to the owners of the attraction where the Dalek was pinched.
So funny, they're even demanding instructions from the Doctor.
There is a Dr.Who exibition in Llangollen, I wonder if security has been stepped up?

Skype, Yahoo in talks?

No, Skype, don't do it.
Everyone who uses skype does not need that stupid little yahoo messenger icon grinning at you inanely. I just wish that people would leave great programs just as they are.
Skype, sell the tech to Yahoo, let them have a VOIP solution in their messenger if they must, but keep your own identity.

The Clicker: R.I.P. DVD Decrypter

DVD Decrypter was a stunning program, great for me to have copies of my "DVD Masters" at home, so I dont muck them up.
It's a pity thay some small minded people decided that it was a bad program and should be shut down.
Lets hope the authors of such a great program come out of this unscathed.

The Laser Turntable

About time, all those people with huge LP collections can breathe a sign of relief, but they will swoon with the price at the moment.
5 lasers read the vynyl. I guess you have to have the LPs professionally cleaned before playing.
Gone now are all the pop and crackles.

More mobile phones than people in Holland

Not exactly News, but Sweden this this a while back.
These are active phones of course, not the ones which are stuffed in drawers gathering circuit rot.
US of course have not quite hit 50% yet. Oh the Europeans are so great.....

No Da Vinci Photoshoot at Westminster

Church officials denied makers of the upcoming Da Vinci Code movie permission to shoot inside London's famed Westminster Abbey, denouncing the story as "theologically unsound," the Reuters news service reported.
