Another Comedy Classic shuffles off this mortal coil
Ronnie Barker died this morning in his sleep. Someone who I remember made me laugh when I was a kid, even though during the Two Ronnies era had lots of sexual inuendo and adult comedy. Open all hours, Porridge, and all those classic british comedies can never be duplicated again.A classic Comic.
1929 - 2005
He was awarded the OBE for services to entertainment, and in 1988 received the BBC Lifetime Achievement Award.

He made me laugh too.
How very sad. I remeber the local television here (Fort Worth) showing the Two Ronnies and Open All Hours - wonderful stuff. A lot more talent than most of the things we see now.
